Cory was a 2010 graduate of Savannah Christian Preparatory School and was junior majoring in business at Georgia Southern University. He also was a proud member of the Kappa Alpha Order. Cory was known for his larger than life personality, charm and "indescribable" sense of humor. First and foremost, Cory loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Kenny and Lisa Wilson, his sister, Morgan Wilson, his paternal grandparents, Jerry and Ann Herrin Wilson, of Savannah, and his maternal grandparents, Aubrey and Andrea Wiggins, of Sandersville, GA. His uncles and aunts, Dru and Lynne Williams, of Savannah; Michael Wilson, of Savannah; Otis and Sabrina Wiggins, of Sandersville. Very special cousins, Grayson Williams and Zachary Williams, both of Savannah, and Ryan Ashley Wiggins, Brandon Wiggins and Evan Wiggins, all of Sandersville, and the love of his life, Olivia Nelson. He is also survived by his fraternity brothers of KA, his many uncles, aunts, and cousins, and endless number of friends. Cory will be missed by all who knew him.
Visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 21, 2013 at Isle of Hope United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in the Greenwich section of Bonaventure Cemetery.
